CB McGee restructures deal with Buffalo Bills (AP) Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee has agreed to restructure the final two years of his contract, providing the team salary relief if he continues to miss playing time. In exchange, McGee agreed to an incentive-laden deal based on him staying healthy and playing. Without going into detail, McGee's agent, Ron Raccuia, disclosed the nature of the restructured contract agreed to on Wednesday. Bills Team Report (Yahoo! Sports) The Bills made a bold effort to improve their defense last year, spending their top four draft picks on that side of the ball, including No. 3 overall pick Marcell Dareus.
In addition, former Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Barnett represented the team's top free-agent signing.
Unfortunately for general manager Buddy Nix and coach Chan Gailey, their best-laid plans didn't pan out. Not only did Buffalo allow a club record 5,938 yards, giving up 400-plus yards five games in a row during one horrific stretch, the Bills gave up 434 points, second most in team history.
